Click to View Image Album Up for offers is this Antique Mini Covered NATIVE AMERICAN Rattle Basket. I know very little about Native American baskets but have been told this may be TLINGIT from the Northwest Coast of North America. This basket is very tightly woven with a knob handle on top. This knob is woven closed and has seeds or pepples inside that make for a rattle. The basket has brown and orange lines woven into the basket. Please see photos for details. SIZE: This basket is 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches across the bottom. CONDITION: Overall condition is very good. The lid is some what depressed on one side including the knob handle. The inside rim has several splits, none are total broken through. The lid has an area that is seperated on the edge about 1 inch.
