absolutely stunning sword early 1800s with Eagle Head handle, honour and my country engraved on sword along with e pluribus unum above eagle and crossed cannons, blade was blued at some point but has worn off ,gold is still in very good condition on the Engravings, there is a name or makers mark were blade meets handle i can not see clearly enough to make out as it is covered, blade itself is very nice, no damage to it other than light tarnishing and one tiny nick with some fading over time, handle is a little loose were the blade meets and is expected and Normal with a 200 year old sword, handle appears to be wrapped in leather some areas it has begun to crack , sword is 36 inches overall length, this sword would have probably had an original leather Scabbard with it but it would have pretty much disintegrated over time, great addition to any colletion, please use photos as part of the description any questions feel free to ask
