I recently had the opportunity to purchase an Art Deco Figurine collection that belonged to famed author, Jackie Collins. Having long been a fan of her work and admirer of her as a person, it is an honor to have researched each piece. Most of her collection was found when she was young, living in London, she would go to Flea Markets and purchase them one at a time, some became a muse for a book she was writing and others just gave her pleasure to have such beauty close by. Her collection pieces date from the late 1800\'s through the 1930\'s.

This wonderful Rosenthal Art Deco porcelain piece was designed by WolfgangSchwartzkopf, Germany 1924. He also designed the art deco piece known as \'Carmen\' around 1927, also for Rosenthal. This piece appears to be a Hollywood dancer or actress. It is virtually flawless, no chips, no cracks. It is a large figurine at almost a foot tall. I cannot find this particular one in any sale house in the last 10 years. It is RARE in size and study and Wolfgang mostly did vibrant colored figurines. This one has a soft, sweet look. It was also owned and loved for many years by the late, Jackie Collins.
