This sale is for a 6"tall x 3" diameter roll of 100% copper mesh. This is tightly rolled for packing a 3" reflux column, or can also be used as pest control. Since I roll them for fitting TIGHT in 3" pipe, the length can vary usually 17-19'. If you need it to be for pest control then please specify an exact length up to 19'. If you are using this for a 3" column you are not going to roll this any tighter than what I have cut it for so please do not waste my time or yours with requesting that you want the full length. Otherwise I will raise the price to accommodate the wasted material and my wasted time. Shipping is $5.75 Priority Mail but only $1 per roll there after!!! The first run should be dumped to remove all contaminants that may have been picked up during the manufacturing of this product. It is in fact 100% copper, here is the manufacturer's comment:
Pursuant to your inquiry I am writing to confirm that various“Trace elements” are present in the 99.99% pure copper rod used in theproduction of your product. These “trace” elements are locked within the coppermetal matrix and are a result of these elements being present within the orefrom which copper metal is extracted. These trace elements are not removablethrough the current ore smelting and subsequent refining processes. These materials are not used in theproduction of or ancillary support systems for the manufacture of copper magnet wire,with the single exception of oxygen, which is maintained between 200 & 450parts per million as is necessary for the successful drawing of magnet wire.The acceptable lever of trace elements is regulated by ASTM and I have listedthese acceptable levels below. All of our copper products meet or exceed this standard.
