Here is a 16mmCinemaScope / lowfade LPPORIGINAL PRINTofthe 1982 Warner Bros. release
THE ROAD WARRIOR (aka MAD MAX 2)
Directed, co-written, and co-editedby George Miller
Produced by Byron Kennedy
Starring Mel Gibson, Vernon Wells, Mike Phipps, Virginia Hey, and Emil Minty
Music by Brian May
The second time was the charm for cinematic genius George Miller\'s astounding screen seriesabout post-apocalyptic Australia. Have you been telling friends who saw the recent MAD MAX - FURY ROADhow whatthey really should see is THE ROAD WARRIOR? Here\'s your chance to help them understand what you already knew: why this second installment is the standout entry in a classic series of films -- and established Mel Gibson\'s stardom globally.
This is the 1982 original American theatrical-release version of THE ROAD WARRIOR,as it has always been known in the United States (rather than the original international title, MAD MAX 2).
The print is 100% beautifullowfade, 1982LPP Estar (polyester) stock -- which can never develop vinegar syndrome --and in CinemaScope. The print was carefully assembled in 1988 fromthe footage of two uncut, former rentalprints of identical age and quality, with intent toavoid as much wear as possible; and because polyester stock requires tapesplices and not cement, no frames were lost in splicing.(The accompanying photos are from the saleed print in projection and areNOT Internet or DVD frame grabs.) Multiple emulsion lines are seen but pretty much disappearby the end ofthebrief opening titles in reel 1; the print\'s heaviest visible wearhas simultaneous scratches at the pointof Max\'s high-speed escape and pursuit from the compound -- one orall of these lines are onscreen for maybe two minutes total, and are represented for your evaluationin one of the photos above. This anamorphic print requires a CinemaScope lens for proper viewing. The opening credits, lengthyclosingcredits, exit music (over black frames following the end credits), and original \"R\" rating card are all present, with no splices. The film runs 95 minutesis mounted ontwo 1600-footreels (complete).
This is the complete, original American theatrical version of THE ROAD WARRIOR: just as you would want to see it and will enjoy running it.

The sellerhopes that this revision will be noticed and read by anyone else before placing a offer.
One sentence in my description aboveSHOULD have read: \"Multiple emulsion lines are seen during the brief opening titles but pretty much disappear by the time the credits end.\"
This print does contain periodic wear, mainly as an occasional thin green line, althoughmore of the footage looks as good as the screen shots provided, than bears scratches. However, I did not mean to imply that NOwear appears betweenreel 1\'sopening creditsand thepoint in reel 2 discussed above -- because that is not the case.
