16mm Feature – Fantasia 1940
This is the censored version that does not contain the Sunflower centaur scene.Sadly this is my last 16mm Disney animated feature print that i am selling.
The first picture of the poster is for display purposes and not included.
The last four screenshots are from reel 2.Mounted on 2 x 2200ft plastic reels.
Housed in plastic film cans.Film stock is Eastman LPP with great colour.
This sound is good throughout.
There is an odour to the film stock.Itdoesn\'tsmell like vinegar to me its a strange smell to be honest.It kind of reminds me of the stale air smell you get inside bicycle inner tubes.I own several vinegar smelling prints but this isdifferent.It has been in its film cans since i purchased it about 6 years ago.There is no warping or shrivelling to the film stock.I am unsure if this is vinegar or just stalelubricant that the previous owner had used.
There are several splices throughout both reels.
Both reels have very long leaders.
The film Title is present.There is a Intermission logo at the very end of Reel 1.


Condition
I think this is possibly a duplicate or dupe print as it is referred to,as there is colour in between the sprockets of the film stock (see picture 3) which i believe is normally clear on an original print.It was like this when i purchased it from CHC Classic Home Cinema.I am no expert on identifying if it is or not but i just like to mention that it might be a dupe print.
Reel 1 - This has for the first 10minutesor so has a group of about 5 thin black lines just left of the centre image from the start.It has thin black and white lines that come and go throughout.There\'s speckling to the image throughout and it is present on the far right of the image throughout the film.Reel 2 - This also has the thin ware lines near the centre image.They are present throughout most of the reel.This also has white speckles throughout the film and thin lines that come and go throughout.
Overall this is a well used 16mm print of this Disney feature which does have lines and ware from use but is very watchable.Please don\'t offer if you are looking for scratch free mint print of this film.
It is being listed at low start price to reflect this and is sold as is thanks.
