16mm film 'Walt's 14 minute greeting to NBC' rare DISNEY super color technicolor:
$482

Hello. To start, my father was a well known cartoon historian and collector named Dave Butler and he passed away in 2014. He had a business called Bosko Video and released a series of vintage cartoons including a collection of 'Private Snafu' on VHS and DVD.The collection is mine now and I sell film on when I get time. I will be selling some cartoons and some TV shows and interesting odds and endsthis comingweek.

Here we have a 16mmfilm of..... a film which is marked as 'Walt's 14 minute greeting to NBC'. At first, when I found the first episode of 'Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color' on youtube and started to watch it, I thought this film was the beginning of that. It's not that. Some of the footage from the beginning of that episode looks like it is used in this, but there's no Ludwig Von Drake. Scenes from Fantasia are used among other cartoons. I think, what it is, is perhaps a intro to being on color TV at NBC thatDisney made maybe to show off how it looks on color TV's and to explain how cartoons went from being in black and white to color. Something like that.Has opening titles, 'The End'(in rainbow letters). Film is dated 4-25-61 which is almost exactly 5 months before the first episode of 'Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color' debuted it's first NBC show on September 24th, 1961. Prior to that, the show was on ABC. Film is on a 800' plastic reel.

Looksto be complete, innice condition and I did not notice any splices within the body of thefilm. I don't have a 16mm projector that works at the moment, so the films are being sold as-is. I do check all the film for damage, etc. It's possible I may havemissed a splice, but I did not see any.If you've bought any of the film I've sold before, you should know what to expect. Please see photos for condition, film stock codes, etc. Ask any ? before offerding. Thanks!

USA media mail shipping is $4.35 and Paypal only for payment. If you'd like it sent priority, send me a message after sale ends. NON USA buyers welcome, but must use 's global shipping program.
