Jaws (1975)
Enjoy the film that made the summer blockbuster! Just when you thought it was safe to host your summer movie with friends. . . here is the classic of suspense directed by Steven Spielberg with Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss. A showpiece item for any collection!
This is an original SCOPE print that requires a scope lens to project it in the correct screen ratio. This is a complete print on Kodak SP stock. Check the screen captures for a look at the color which is very good. Mounted on three 1600' reels. I've included shots from all three reels. The print has moderate surface wear in the way of lines. Nothing terrible but there is some wear as you can see from the pictures. A few splices from print assembly but I don't recall any that impacted dialog or were obtrusive to the action. A very nice print of a rare and great film -- perfect for movie audiences for almost any occasion.
I can't imagine that anyone needs it, but here is the storyline from IMDB.com:It's a hot summer on Amity Island, a small community whose main business is its beaches. When new Sheriff Martin Brody discovers the remains of a shark attack victim, his first inclination is to close the beaches to swimmers. This doesn't sit well with Mayor Larry Vaughn and several of the local businessmen. Brody backs down to his regret as that weekend a young boy is killed by the predator. The dead boy's mother puts out a bounty on the shark and Amity is soon swamped with amateur hunters and fisherman hoping to cash in on the reward. A local fisherman with much experience hunting sharks, Quint, offers to hunt down the creature for a hefty fee. Soon Quint, Brody and Matt Hooper from the Oceanographic Institute are at sea hunting the Great White shark. As Brody succinctly surmises after their first encounter with the creature, they're going to need a bigger boat.

Screen grabs are from the actual print, projected on my screen and taken with an i-phone camera to help you assess quality, color and condition. The screen grabs were shot while projecting with a regular lens, not a scope lens, hence the distortion but they serve the purpose to let you assess the print.
