1710-1720 English Onion Bottle (Damaged) For Sale

Badly damaged original English black glass onion bottle. Usual damage to string rim, as is common with these bottles. Poorly re-glued looping crack that encircles the whole bottle (see pictures).May be suitable for restoration (I\'m no expert). Dates to 1710-1720.This had later added painted floral design (see last picture), which has beenremoved. Base is classic sand pontil. Dimensions are approximately 6.25 inches diameter by 6 inches in height. Surface hasdecent amount of gloss, but a number of scratches present.
