1862-63 , Rare, civil war ironclad USS MONITOR, gutta-percha case, MINTY, Ided For Sale

How rare is this a minty 1862-63 gutta-percha double sided USS MONITOR ,passing infort of a fort , the ironclad is on both sides with the same scene. The inside has the LITTLE, PARSONS& CO. MANUFACTURES OF DAGUERREOTYPE CASE , L.P.&CO. ARE THE SOLE PROPRIETORS AND ONLY LEGAL , MANUFACTURES OF UNION CASES WITH THE EMBRACING RIVETED HINGES , PATENTED OCTOBER 14, 1856 AND APRIL 21 , 1857. The people in the picture are ID. as RONUDSERS AND MRS. WOOD, child and women ,in fancy copper surround matt. This depicts the UNION ironclad ship USS MONITOR,which was designed by Captain John Ericsson and delivered to the Union Government on February 25, 1862. The USS MONITOR took an active part in the famous battle of Hampton Roads on March 9th 1862. This was the first ''modern'' naval battle of human history. During this battle , the fight of the USS MONITOR against the confederate CSS VIRGINIA ( which was a frigate sheathed in iron) remains famous. Both vessels battled each other for control of the passageway through to Washington. The MONITOR foundered in a bad storm off Capr Hatteras, Nrth Carolina on Dec 31 1862, and was lost to the union, in 1973 the USS MONITORS revolving iron turret was raised ,along with other parts of the ship. This ninth plate case, shows the stars and stripes fluttering bravely from the pole on her deck,with ammo crates left of the tower, this is hard to find in the ninth plate size, harder then the sixth plate.
