1865 Civil War Portraits Of Prominent Union Generals Incl. Maj Gen A. Burnside For Sale

This is a collection of highly sought-after portraits of prominent Union Generals during the American Civil War of 1861-65. The collection includes portraits of Major General A. Burnside, Hooker, Butler, Franz, Sigel, Fremont, Ord, Hunter and Banks. The pieces are original and are dated at 1865. The measurements are 10" x 6 1/2" for the page and 7" x 5 1/4" for the image. Surprisingly there is no artist given. This page, despite it's extreme age is still very white with very minimal age discoloration. There are no rips tears holes or stains. The only blemish to this piece of art is the very faintest text bleed through in the background. This print also still has the original attached tissue cover. The portraits are an excellent addition to any militaria enthusiast's collection.
