Stereoview photograph of a cog railway train at MountWashington, New Hampshire, by S.F. Adams, circa late 1860s to 1870s. The view,entitled View on Mt. Wash’n Railway, N.H., shows cog railroad tracks runningout of the foreground and turning to the left with a cog railroad locomotiveand passenger car just beyond the corner. Bare mountain peaks form a backdropfor the scene. The stereoview is in very good condition with only minor wearand soiling. The photographs exhibit good or better tonal range and show goodor better detail. A nice early Mount Washington Cog Railroad image!
