Woolworth Colton\'s New Guide Mpa of the United States and Canada with Railroads, Counties, etc. some small edge tearing.a nice map from the ATLAS to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies 1861-1865. the book this comes from was published by the Government Printing Office, Washington (1891-95) under the direction of the Hon. Redfeld Proctor, Secretary of War, by Major George B. Davis, U.S.A., Mr. Leslie J. Perry, Mr. Joseph W. Kirkley, Board of Publication. Compiled by Capt. Calvin D. Cowles, 23rd U.S. Infantry.
I HAVE NOTICED ON THAT SOME PEOPLE TRY TO SELL THESE MAPS AS COMING FROM 1865, THAT IS NOT TRUE, THEY ARE FROM THE 1890\'S.i have aquired aprox 100 of the 175 maps that came from this 2 volume set. it is very hard to find and the complete set sells for 4000-7000. the individual maps sell for 65-400 depending on which map it is, they are hard to find, i think there were only around 2000 copies of the book made.
Note: i can ship many of these for the same shipping cost, as the weight is from protecting the map, not the map itself.
