Up for sale is a almost 5 feet long overall Halberd. This piece should date around the Revolutionary War. It is marked Hyland on the blade. it is handforged. It come out of the Lakewood NJ Museum. The pole is approximately 42\" long by 1-1/4\" in diameter and is cut at the bottom. The pole would have been longer. The halberd itself measure 24-1/2\" long and two screws hold it to the pole on one side while 3 hold it on the otherside. It is 8\" wide. Hand forged. The thickest part is just above the cross section and is 1/2\" thick. Good weapons like these are undervalued and hard to come by.
