This is a Conley Safety Rapid Orthographic F-8 Folding Camera. The Conley Camera Company of Rochester was located in Minnesota.

The Camera has a 1907 Patent Date on the pull out rod in front of the Conley Plate below the lens. It pulls out and goes back in easily when you use the rod with a ball on top. Looking at my third picture, a Close Up of the Camera when the Camera is still inside the box. Notice the right edge. Leather is off the wood.

If you look at my 4th and 5th Pictures, you will see the Solid Red Mahogany Wood. It has Dovetailed, Rounded Corners with hand polishing you find on a fine piano.

I checked the Shutter and Aperature Levers and Both Work Good. My 3rd Picture shows a Close Up of the Front of this Camera. Under the lens you will see "Wollensak Optical Co. Rochester, N.Y. U.S.A." There's a nice close up for the front of this camera and both sides. My last pictures show the two extra wood film holders and one is in the back of the camera. You can see it on the right.

My Second to Last Picture shows the front, bottom of the Camera opened. You can see the open crack in the leather. Glued, might help hide some of this crack. Also notice two tripod screw holes on the left.

Going through my pictures, you will see the pictures of the Red Bellows. The Bellows were made out of the best Russian leather.

In my 7th Picture you will see the Back of the Camera. It has a wood film holder in it. In the 6th Picture I pull out the holder a little and holding the viewing door with tweezers. This door does not lock. The little, small pin is not holding the door shut. I think it needs a longer piece of metal on the lower side. It is not long enough to lock the pin.

In My 9th picture you see the inside of the back, looking into the bellows. The back, on the right, has "Exposed" on the holder, is Missing four sections of track that locks this section on the camera. My 10th Picture you will get a better view of the inside of the bellows.

This is an Impressive Camera that should still take good pictures. Heavy duty rubber bands, which hold the wood film holder section to the larger part of the camera, would be a quick temporary solution so you could use this Antique Camera.
