This sale is for a 1910\'s antique 26\" handsaw, etched on the blade: HENRY DISSTON & SONS - D8 - ESTABLISHED 1840 - PAT\'D. JUNE 23RD, 1874 - PHILADELPHIA, U.S.A. - \"For Beauty, Finish, and Utility, this Saw cannot be Excelled\" - HENRY DISSTON - and marked on the medallion: H. DISSTON & SONS - PHILADA - This old ripsaw has 5 1/2 ppi., an Apple wood handle with a dual grip thumbhole, and a skewback blade. Overall it is in very good+ condition, straight and sharp, appearing just lightly used, and showing a tiny chip on the underside of the upper horn. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. It measures 29\" and weighs 1 lb. 14 oz.
