This sale is for a 1920 era antique railroad caboose scissor extension candlestick phone with headset and bell. Previous owner said his dad took this out of a Union Pacific Railroad Caboose around 1940 and he has kept it since then and recently mounted it to a board to sell it at the antique show where I acquired it but it is not marked with the U.P. logo. It is marked on the phone: WESTERN ELECTRIC - MADE IN U.S.A. - PATENTED IN U.S.A. - JANUARY, 26, 1915 - The headset and mouthpiece are also marked: WESTERN ELECTRIC - also the bell is marked: P.R. - XXX - MADE IN DETROIT, MICH. U.S.A. - This classic old railroad phone is in very good condition overall with nothing really broken or damaged although there is some tape on the bottom of the candlestick to hold the cord in place and on a couple little pieces of tapeon the cloth cords. The board measures 24\" by 7\" and the total weight is 8 lbs. 12 oz.
