This is our interpretation of an actual WWI propeller that sold for thousands of dollars at sale. We\'ve changed the pitch slightly so it will hang better on the wall and made it smaller than the original (which was nine feet long) and stained it in attractive dark mahogany. Very similar to a Liberty Hartzell type. We make exclusively handmade in the Philippinesout of mahogany, then edged in thin brass that has been slightly stained and dinged to look old. The wood---which will darken slightly over time---has been dented and distressed to look like an expensive antique, with darker staining around the hub and edges to replicate aging and oil stains. Approximately 70 inches from tip to tip and weighs about7-9 pounds with a brass faced hub plate measuring six inches. Comes with mounting hardware.
