1929 Leica 1(a) Leitz Elmar 50mm f1.35 SN 16824.
This 1(a) was the first commercial model Leica produced that being the first 35mm mass-produced camera made. It is the Elmar version of the Leica I(a).
As the picturesillustrate it is in need of some care and attention as it is arestoration project started but not finished. I am lead to believe that all the parts are present but as Ididn\'ttake them off I can not be sure please check the pictures as I have tried to detaileverythingclearly. The inside of the camera is clean and from whatI can see of the lens the front element is also very clean. I cannot really say much more about this item.
