This is a cute composition doll made by Ideal in the 1938



This is Cinderella with the Magic Flirty Eyes



Marked with only the number 13 on her back, she measures 13\" tall and is made of composition, with hazel or blue sleep eyes which \"flirt\" back and forth, an open mouth with 6 inset teeth like Shirley Temple, a felt tongue and a dimple in her chin, as well as a real human hair wig in the original set



She is all original in her blue tulle and satin gown, with blue satin panties, socks and silver center snap shoes




The gown is missing its tag and has several small brownish stains as well as a couple of tiny holes to the tulle (see photos); soles of shoes show wear and the doll is missing her crown



Her composition has all over light crazing with a few deeper cracks on her mouth and bottom and some compo flaked off at the neckline, but she has no chipped fingers or toes and is nicely strung, posing well without looseness



Eyes are clear with no crazing, and they still open and close and flirt back and forth as they should



I identified her using The Collector\'s Encyclopedia of American Composition Dolls 1900-1950 by Ursula R. Mertz, pg. 305 but she is also shown in the Collector\'s Guide to Ideal Dolls by Judith Izen



 She\'d make a great addition to your compo doll collection




The doll is clean, odor free and comes from a smoke-free home
