1930\'s Original TEXACO Milk Glass GAS PUMP GLOBE Signed CAPCO For 13 1/2\" Lenses For Sale

Up for sale is an Original large vintage 1930\'s TEXACO Milk GlassGas Pump Globe.Signed on the neck of the collar in embossed letters is the maker of this solid milk glass globe \"The CAPCO COMPANY\" a part of the\"CincinnatiAdvertising Products Company\" from back in the 1930\'s. The embossed letters are hard to read but are there (Pic. # 11). A very Unusual and Hard to Find signed Globe. This double sided globe has been in my collection since the early 1970\'s. Guaranteed original. I bought it out of an old closed Texaco Gas Stationwhich was in businessback in the early 30\'s.

Measurements: Globe is 14\" on face diameter x 16 1/2\" tall x 6\" diameter on bottom neck. Holds a 13 1/2\" Convex Glass lens on each face. The wide side width is approximately 6 1/4\" wide.(Making this globe wider, heavier and larger thanmost).

Condition:No chips, cracks or damage. Shows some wear from use with light scratches upon close inspection. Also some paint, orange water rust and dark ring marks on bottom of neck. Inside of neck shows minor chips and roughness from use and manufacturing. Very smooth on outside neck and globe. Hard to read embossed letters on the neck showing THE CAPCO COMPANY but they are there. Milk glass is very clean, inside and out (except for on the bottom neck). Bright and Shiny. Shows nice old swirl lines in the milk glass from manufacturing. Wonderful original used condition. Almost like New / but is used Old Stock. A nice early addition to add to any Gas & Oil Collection or Display.
This is a heavy glass globeand a very fragile item for shipping. It will be well boxed and wrapped. Insurance is included in shipping.
