For your consideration, I am offering a beautiful salt glazed stoneware advertising beer mug produced by White\'s Pottery of Utica New York for Greenway\'s India Pale Ale in Syracuse New York. The mug features the Griffin trademark in the center, the company name on one side and the product name on the other. This example is also signed and dated on the bottom \"JD Wright 1934\".The Greenway Brothers purchased Brewster Brothers Brewery in 1853, and after several name changes, closed their doors in 1952. Their India Pale Ale was produced from 1933-1941.See pictures for condition details. There are no chips or cracks. It is very clean. Appears to have been used as a pen holder, as there appears to be small ink marks in the bottom. Otherwise a very nice example of early breweriana. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I was asked about a line on the handle. It is part of the clay slip design (maybe \'leaves\'?) that was added to the handle. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. It really is a great mug.

It has been brought to my attention that White\'s Pottery of Utica, begun by Noah White, was in business from 1838 to 1907. This mug must have been produced by a different pottery. Please offer accordingly.
