Here it is, in the flesh, not a sears ad or picture or story of one. In my opinion, this is the ultimate Elgin moto-bike. It needs the correct stem and handlebars. The tires look to be from the 40s. This is original patina and finish. This bike has never been restored. The gentleman that I bought it from has had it since 1965. It sat in his shed and I uncovered this beauty on 7-22-14. It has been out of the sun and weather for a very long time. I have not tried to clean it. I have only dusted it. Unless you want to arrange a shipping company that you can trust to do the job right, cause if this bike ends up gone, it\'s gone. Please leave all negative comments in your head and not on my for sale post.Condition: There are tiny dents at the rear aluminum fender, the front fender has a nick at the front edge. There is a tiny (very faint) crack at the fender mounting bracket a seat stay. The bars and stem are not original to the bike, The tires are old and cracked. The frame and fork have not been cleaned at all. There is a very nice patina to the bicycle overall. I reserve the right to end this sale early. If you need more pictures I can take a ton for you.
