For your consideration we are offering this vintage cast aluminum ashtray from the 1940's. A detailed casting featuring a pair of Irish Setter bird dogs on point. The reverse shows the Rotary International insignia with "Compliments - Glenn Pless" above. To the right, the Virginia Metalcrafters trademark. FYI: Glenn Pless was a prominent merchant, citizen and president of the Galax, Va. Rotary Club. Mr. Pless contracted the Va. Metalcrafters for a limited casting of these ashtrays for presentation to members of the Rotary Club. Ashtrays measure 4.5" x 3.25". A scarce ashtray in fine condition. We will consider a reasonable offer.
