1940s 1950s SUNCREST SUN CREST ADVERTISING WALL CLOCK PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED :
$499.00

This 1940s, 1950s SunCrest lighted wall clock hung in an old country store not far from where I live here in central Virginia. I was given the story behind it by the elderly 94-year old owner who had closed his store down and retired in 1980 after 30 years of operation. He recalls that the clock was functioning fine when he removed it from the wall and carefully packed it away in his home attic. I was fortunate to obtain it from him. His store was in Wylliesburg,Virginia on Route 15. He also remembers getting the clock as a premium from the local soda distributor in right about 1954. If you are a soft drink sign collector then you will recognize this clock and everything about it, only, you will not find another example in the pristine, fully restored, working condition as this particular clock. The light bulbs have been replaced. The power cord has been expertly electrician replaced with a vintage electric cord of a generous, 15-foot length. All the glass, the clock face and the domed convex front glass, which all are fully intact in excellent condition, has been handled with rubber gloves and Windex cleaned and sealed. The inside and outside thoroughly cleaned. The clock motor was tested and is in perfect working condition. Please know that this clock is sold in running condition. The information sticker is still present on the back side and, interestingly, the Telechron Company was listed as a department of General Electric as GE was in the process of slowly acquiring Telechron in the 50s. You simply cannot tell by looking at the front of this clock that it dates to the mid-1950s. It was well taken care of as you can see. The size is 14 1/2\" x 14 1/2\" by 4 1/2\" thick.offerding starts at a reasonable $9.99 with FREE USPS priority mail shipping, fully-insured, super well packed and with tracking added. I have put a reserve in place so keep this in mind when offerding.I also offer a 14-day money-back satisfaction guarantee you\'ll like these coins, or you can return them post-paid, insured, for a full purchase price refund. You have nothing to lose, so don\'t delay, offer now to own this Indian Head Cent.Payment is due within 5 days of sale end by PAYPAL. I ship ASAP upon payment. *** UPDATE *** Oops, my goof! Kindly ignore the later description reference to an \"Indian head cent\" as I inadvertently failed to change it to \"clock.\" Was from a previous coin sale template I modified for this clock sale. Sorry for any possible confusion, ron.
