Own a piece of history with these 1940s US ARMY "Sweetheart" Satin Pillow Cover from Fort Snelling, Minnesota and Camp Fannin, Texas. These unique pieces feature beautiful artwork that has taken a serious hug or several hugs and is a perfect addition to any militaria collection. These pieces are original and were made during the WWII era (1939-45). The artwork on the pillow cover depicts a military-themed logos and poems to mom and dad, which was a common theme during this period. The pillow cover was manufactured in the United States and is a great representation of the region of origin. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of history!
The case from Fort Snelling measure 15" inches wide and 16" inches tall. As you can see, one has lost most of its yellow lettering and art work while the other is in much better shape! The graphics happen to be the same but each has a different poem. One being Mother and the other being Mother and Dad.
The case from Camp Fannin is 16" inches wide and 18" inches tall. This one has taken some wear as well but is overall in good shape structurally and has a lot of character!
I think these would look amazing framed and hung on the wall!
