1950s CRAGSTAN BOXED MINTY BATTERY-OP HAPPY FIDDLER CLOWN PLAYS THE VIOLIN For Sale

CONDITION NOTES: This vintage toy comes in minty condition and will display very nicely! The battery compartment is clean as a whistle. The tin litho base is free from corrosion, oxidation, and other excessive wear. The clown is operational and occasionally requires a little encouragement to keep moving. His clothing is free from stains, soiling, and other excessive wear. His plastic head and painted facial features are also practically flawless. The beautiful tin litho violin features two strings and the bow features one string. While the toy is operating, the clown moves around and a violin sound comes from within. He needs some practice to say the least. The box is very nice as well with bright, colorful imagery, and has been professionally repaired from the inside where there were rips. The box measures 5 x 7 x 10.5 inches, and that should give you a good idea on the clown’s measurements. His height changes quite a bit as he moves around.
