1951 FENDER CHAMPION \'600\', NEEDS RESTORATION, OR CAN BE USED FOR PARTS: $250.66
This is a 1951 Fender Champion \'600\' guitar amp, serial number 1978 on the chassis and label, in non-working condition. The fuse cap is missing, and the original capacitors arebulging, so we can\'t power this amp up. A 10-inch speaker has beennon-professionally bolted to the front baffle board that was also cut out for the enlarged speaker. Most of the electrical componentsand chassis is original, like the transformer and stuff, and there\'s a piece of masking tape stuck to the chassis that reads \'Lupe\', the lady that installed the electronics originally at the Fender factory in 1951. I don\'t know if this amp is worth restoring, or if it is just a parts amp that can be used to restore another one. Apparently, the modifications were done in the 1970\'s as the speaker code reads 137-7029, which translates to CTS manufactured the 29th week of 1970. We will offer a 72-hour approval period, with money-back guarantee, except shipping costs of course. The amp \'is what it is\', so enjoy offerding.
