Selling my extremely rare 1953 Marilyn Monroe original photograph ‘How to Marry a Millionaire’ Here she is looking happy and stunning in a beautiful dress wardrobe test shot with dress designer William Travilla. Size 8 x 10 inch. Double weight, gelatin silver. In excellent condition. Produced from the original negative or transparency. My best guess is this was produced in the 60’s. Any defects are from the negative the photo is in excellent condition. Yellowing on back does not affect the front.

The collector card states:

“How To Marry a Millionaite: where this Marilyn pose originated, was also the first comedy ever filmed using the wide-screen CinemaScope method. The 1953 film capped what stands as Marilyn's greatest single year and put her at the peak of her profession.”
