1960 TOSHIBA 6TP-385 TRANSISTOR RADIO BOXED BEAUTY For Sale

Here is another reverse painted beauty from Toshiba, the 6TP-385, circa 1960. Gotta love the reverse painted cut-out treatment of the tuning dial, and the color combinations on these sets reflect Toshiba's attention to aesthetic beauty.

This example is a subtle almost olive drab green color, which is in excellent cosmetic condition, without any chips or cracks. Included in the box are the (silly) little AM telescoping antenna and the leather case. The box (for a 385A) shows wear. The radio does not work.

I have been collecting transistor radios and TVs for more than 25 years, and am now "thinning" my collection. Most are like new in the box, so keep an eye on my sales!
