This recent find is from the Estate of a NASA MSFC - MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER Aerospace Engineer and came from building 4200 Archives before it was demolished. This NASA MERCURY PROJECT (LIBERTY BELL 7) 16mm Film is part of a large set of archived films from Marshall Space Flight Center. Film is from 1961 (first Mercury Flight was 1959). This Kodak marked 16mm Film is in Original Metal Case with label on the outside and includes an original handwritten note with "Training Film How to Disarm a Mercury Capsule." Note: We are currently going through collection of these Films and will soon have more checked / verified and listed (Films will cover Space Race era from 1959 thru the late 1960s)! This cannister Label has the following details:

Pictures are taken from about the first half of the film/reel (the last half of the film has not been looked at). Film Integrity is Very Good. As expected with 60+ year old 16mm film, there is a vinegar smell to it.
