1962 Fender Princeton For Sale

Very clean 1962 Fender Princeton. This Amp is in fantastic shape & sounds great. SN P02080, Date code LE, May of 1962. It looks like one cap has been replaced & the handle may be a replacement as it is in very good condition, but Im not sure. Not sure if the speaker cone is the one that left the factory in 62 but it could be & obviously the tubes have been replaced. Other than that it appears to be in near original condition. Speaker, transformers, grill, tolex & electronics with the exception of one cap as I mentioned earlier appear to be all factory original. The brown tolex is in amazing condition for being 52 years old. The grill has one snag in the upper right corner, a very small one in the lower right corner & a few frays here & there. Faceplate & knobs are in good condition as well. This is a really fun amp to play through & is a perfect studio amp or for jamming at home. You can crank it up without knocking things off the wall & it loves pedals. The tremolo sounds wonderful. This does not come with a tremolo pedal but any on/off footswitch with a rca connection will work fine. There are metal tube shields included that are not shown in the photos for the pre tubes.
Amp will be well packed, tubes pulled & bubble wrapped & fully insured. USA sale only. Sorry but no Alaska or Hawaii on this one. Thanks!

I have been getting quite a few questions & just want to clarify. Although this Amp is in amazing condition & currently sounds great, please keep in mind that it is also 52 years old with most of its originalelectronics & original speaker. If you are going to play this ona regular basis, chances are it will need somemaintenance from time to time. Anyone that is familiar or has experience with vintage Amps knows that they need attention & maintenance to keep running & sounding great. They aresimple indesign & usually very affordable to keep tuned up. If you are going to dime this Amp on a regular basis I would suggest pulling the original Oxford Speaker out & putting something else in there to keep the original working well. Know what you are buying. Its a sweet old Amp that needs to be taken care of. Thanks!
