1964 1/2 Schwinn Stingray Super Deluxe Mostly Orig. For Sale

Hello buyers I have For sale, One 1964 1/2Schwinn Super Deluxe Stingray in Coppertone. This bike is mostly orig. I have replaced some nuts and bolts with correct NOS parts from 20 years ago. The front spring nut and bolt are NOS, the seat clamp nut is NOS, the fork pivot bolt nut and washer are NOS, and the front axle, bearings and nuts are NOS. The tires and tubes are replacements. The orig. screen print was missing, or removed,from it\'s orig. chain guard, 20 years ago I painted and applied the Decal on the guard. The Schwinn top bar screen print was gone, I applied the decals, theyare incorrect for the 64 bike. 20 years ago I took this bike apart and cleaned and greased allthe bearings, replaced the above mentioned parts in order to have a super cool pit/swap meet rider. The rest of this bikehas it\'s orig. date coded 1964 parts. The Frame is L4, Some lucky kid in the Dallas TX. area most likelygot this bike for Christmas 1964. The rims are center stamped S-2/S-7, the front rim has a tiny wobble most likely just a retrue. The rear rim has asingle speed red line Bendix hub, correct orig. brake band. Very nice knife edge fenders. The handle bars, goose neck, it looks likeI used NOS bolts on the goose neck too,and thegrips are very good. The seat and high loop sissy bar are also in good condition with some road rash on the bar and the seat tag has no print on it.
