1966 Batman TV Dailies BEHIND THE SCENES Footage - Adam West 35mm Film Reels Lot For Sale

Here it is...the HOLY GRAIL for fans of the 1966 Batman TV series. Five 35mm reels (silent) containing never-before-seen dailies from the filming/set of the Adam West and Burt Ward TV series. Nearly ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES of extremely rare footage. Excellent condition with superb color.The reels were thrown out in the 1980s and rescued from the dumpster. They have been stored away since then...until now.The silent footage is from several episodes, and includes:

• manyclapboardscenesidentifying the director, dates, etc.
• several start up scenes positioningthe actors for the start of filming
• extended and apparently rehearsal scenes (in one, Batman is on a conveyor belt trap, and it looks like a crew member\'s foot is visible and moving in the background. There are also longer scenes of Batman wincing while in traps or stress)
• pre-special effects scenes (such as the eyes in Mad Hatter\'s hats not having the rays, which were added later)
• French credits for at least one episode (not sure how this relates to the rest of the footage)
• almost everybody that appeared in the series (no Frank Gorshin, unfortunately), such asAdam West, Burt Ward, Neil Hamilton, Madge Blake, Yvonne Craig, StaffordRepp, Alan Napier, Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, Julie Newmar, Ertha Kitt, Vincent Price, David Wayne, Joan Collins, Otto Preminger, Cliff Robertson, Victor Buono, Ethel Merman, Steve Allen, Chad & Jeremy, Lesley Gore, CarolynJones and more...

It appears as if much of the footage could have been used for the final takes...but withoutsound it\'s difficult to tell. In any event, there is definitely never-before seen footage included. The winning buyer will alsoreceive MP4 files of all five reels so they can be watched on a PC.
