NOW THIS IS COOL!

Here is a rare original January 1968 SCHWINN STINGRAY \"FASTBACK\" 20\" BICYCLE! (AD Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This is one of the coolest bikes made by Schwinn! They look cool and are great riding bikes!

*The bike has the cool original CAMPUS GREEN 5-speed Fastback frame and forks with original paint and decals, wide apehanger handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, original screen chainguard, Schwinn bow pedals, Schwinn \"mag\" sprocket, chrome fenders and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. The stick shifter is in place and it even has the original OVERLOAD tube! (those are always missing) The seat is cool! It has the original STINGRAY tag on the rear and even has the rear reflector in place! (Seat has rips) This one has Schwinn S5 Schwinn Fastback rims front and rear. The tires hold air and are cool! Both tires are Schwinn tires and do hold air. (rear is a cool Fastback SLIK)

THIS BIKE has a fun story. The first time I spotted this, it was leaning against Mike Wolfe (from American Pickers) van at a swap meet in Iowa last year. One of his friends found it in a barn in Iowa from the original owner! Be the first to get this one out there and enjoy it! The Fastback bikes are the best riding Stingrays and seem to keep going up in value!

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just mostly like you see it. It would need a restoration from top to bottom for show or have fun with it in its unrestored patina. (People at car shows would go crazy seeing you ride an unrestored Stingray Stik Shift bike this summer) The paint is original and has has chips scratches wear age etc but is better than most that you see. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. The chrome is not great and would need resto for show. The front wheel was missing when I bought it. I purchased a correct Schwinn S5 and tire and it is in place. (as far as I know is the only part on this bike that the bike was not born with but is correct. See pics and be your own judge) This look is HOT these days and some people appreciate a real BARN FIND like this better than a restored bike! Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The rear rim has a couple side dents. (not uncommon) These never come along! Better than money in the bank! You will LOVE this bike! ENJOY! *This is a cool bike in the RIGHT color! The Fastback bikes ride much nicer than the cool KRATE bikes! (they look awesome but these ride much better) I hope you enjoy this! These do not come along often!

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
