Description

HERE IS ONE OF THE COOLEST bikes I have seen in a VERY long time!

Here is a rare original (I believe around 1969-1970 era) Sears SCREAMER 1 20\" 5-speed stick shift muscle bike. (Serial Number appears to be 502417***?) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!)

*This is agruably one of the very COOLEST non Schwinn muscle bikes of all time! You see the Schwinn KRATE and Stingray bikes sometimes but almost never see these. I actively collect and look for old bikes on a daily basis. This is the VERY FIRST one of these I have had in probably 10 years!!! These are SUPER COOL and were designed after the drag racing muscle cars of the time! They hit the nail on the head with this one! They are SO cool!

*The bike is LOADED with cool options only found on the top of the line \"Screamer\" series at the time. The bike has the cool correct twin bar 5-speed 20x16\" frame, Screamer Springer fork, super cool chainguard, (these are often missing) cool wide apehanger Screamer \"Pretzel\" handlebars, nice gold handlebars tape, amazing dual 5-speed STICK SHIFT with a drag brake lever as well, cool tall rear sissy bar, glitter seat with reflector, (I believe this was replaced? has corner rip) DUAL rear caliper brakes, newer kickstand, REDLINE pedals, (show age) and so much more! This one has the cool 20x2.125 rear wheel with an awesome REDLINE SLIK rear tire. Both front and rear tires hold air. I believe the front tire is a slightly newer replacement.

*I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! This one has its original screen SCREAMER 1 chainguard! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand AND drag brakes. (check out the super cool DUAL REAR brake setup!) It shifts and brakes but has been in long term storage and weill need standard tuning and adjustment. This bike has been in very long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! The bike appears to be basically all original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own judge) I like the banana seat! It has a small side split and I believe originally had a reflector on the rear.

*I was told this bike has spent the last 3+ decades in a clean dry city basement. Consequently, it is in relatively nice unrestored condition as you can see! Bikes like this rarely come along in any condition. ESPECIALLY one that has not been trading numerous times amongst collectors. Be the first to get this one out in the light and enjoy it. I had a very hard time deciding to part ways with this one. I came very close to putting this one in my own collection. Finds like this almost NEVER come along these days! I hope you enjoy it!

*The bike appears to be mostly original. (I believe kickstand and seat are newer. See pics and be your own expert) I got it just like you see it and have nothing to hide.

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for its age! The paint looks ok for a 45+ year old bike! (has chips scratches wear etc. see pics) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. (chrome shows age and would need resto for show or enjoy it just like it is) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (seems every used bike out there does too) This is a great find! ENJOY! You see Krate bikes sometimes but never see these! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

Either way it is SUPER COOL and they are AWESOME bikes! Most people do not sell them who have them. I hope you love it! With a little tlc, you will have a really cool bike that will only go UP in value! A good \"fixer upper\" type bike or possibly use it for its very valuable hard to find parts! They are not hard to find and not very expensive! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

*These bikes are cool! Flawless originals sell for thousands of dollars! Own this one for much less! People will ABSOLUTELY LOVE seeing you riding this one! Take it to a car show or cruise night! People remember these but never see them these days! People will talke about you and your cool bike for years! ENJOY THIS ONE!

*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY so offer early and don\'t miss out! This will sell to the high buyer! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
