1973 Schwinn Apple Krate Sting Ray Bicycle For Sale

Item up for sale is my 1973Schwinn Apple Krate bicycle. This bicycleis 100% original. Serial number is EJ613070,Model C-30-9. Bicycle was purchased newon 8/4/1973. Bicycle color is Apple Red. Bicycle is 5 speed model with shifter locatedin front of seat on frame. Front brakeis an expander style brake and rear brake is a disc style brake. I am the original owner and have originalmanual and assembly instruction sheet for speedometer. I also have originalcash receipt of purchase of bicycle, (A copy of the receipt can be providedwith the bicycle if requested). The bicycleis in very good condition for the age.Bicycle has always been stored in dry garage. The paint still retains its originalshine. The chain guard does have someminor scratches in the paint as shown in photo.All the chrome is in good condition.Pedals are in good shape. Theseat is the original, sparkle with offset stripe. Seat does not have any tears or rips in seat. Bicycle has Shock Absorbing struts on seat, 5speed stick shift, Shock absorbing, chrome plated fork on front end, Rear disc brake. Tires are bothoriginal. Rear tire is 20” diameterraised white letter, Schwinn racing ‘Slik’ tire. Bicycle has Schwinn approved speedometerwhich was also installed at the time of purchase of bicycle.
