This classic bicycle is still all original paint and seat. It\'s been happily used by a few generations and has some normal wear and tear, but the chrome has been constantly maintained and is in near-perfect polish. The gears shift perfectly and the brakes are also in good condition. The only missing items are the pedals, which are easy to replace. Otherwise this is the perfect kids bike that\'s been popular for decades!I ran the serial number which authenticates this as made in Chicago in November of 1975. It\'s a model J38-9 and weighs approximately 41 pounds. Rear tire is the 20x2.125\" SLIK tire in great shape. The chain and sprocket are also in great shape and have been well maintained. As can be seen from the pictures, the original sky blue paint job is in very good condition with few scratches considering that the bike is over 40 years old.
