Nice 1979 Vintage Puma Hunter\'s Companion Knife with Stag handles. The model number is 6394. The guarantee date stamp is73373. This knife was made in the 3rd quarter of 1973.
The knife is over 45 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The blade is Germanstainlesssteel and the handles are stag withthree brass rivets and alanyardhole that is brass lined.
This knife measures 8 3/4\" overall with a 4 3/4\" blade. The front of this knife blade is etched: 6394 HANDMADE - PUMA HUNTER\'S COMPANION - GENUINE PUMASTER STEEL - GERMANY BEST NO 6394.
The knife includes the \"Puma Proof Mark\" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. Theknife also comes with the Rockwell sticker.
It has a 4 3/4\" German Pumamaster steel bladeand is 8 3/4\" overall length. The blade has a full and clear etch.
The Puma knife comes in the Puma green & yellow case with goldguaranteed control tag. The knife also comes with a genuine Puma leathersheath.
