1982 Case XX 8-Dot 6251 Large Sway Back Trapper Knife w/Box Mint, For Sale

Do you have one of these in your collection yet? While I’ve never really been into Case Collector Club knives I’ve always had a fondness for nice Bone handled Large Sway Backs like this Mint beauty. I just recently acquired 2 of these gems from a trading partner, I\'m keeping one and saleing 1 off so someone else can enjoy it. This piece has never been carried, used, or sharpened and it comes with the original paperwork and box (also pictured). These 1982 models were all made with Brown Jigged Bone handles and these are perfect, not a chip or crack to be found. Both the Stainless Steel Saber and Spey blades show the factory edge along with that great factory shine. There are no spots, just a couple of blade rubs, no pits, no major scratches, not any blade play or wobble, and decent walk and talk snap. There were a total of 4902 of these made (for collector clubs members only), each numbered on the right front bolster, with this one being engraved with number 0285 – a nice low number. While the box shows a bit of wear and some tape applied to the inside, it’s in overall good shape and protects the beauty of this great collectible.
