Offered is a gorgeous, solid coin silver covered sugar bowl. Piece is not hallmarked, which is not unusual for early coin silver, but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be of atleast .900 purity, right below sterling. Very well designed egg shape, with a swinging handle and ornate floral decorations. Stand on four legs, having finials on the lid and underneath. Perfectly Aesthetic. Has an engraved family crest on one side and a monogram on other. With handle up, piece measures 8\" tall x 5\" wide. Weighs 10.7 troy ounces. In great condition with some age appropriate light imperfections. Some scratching inside from spoons The sugar basket has never been offered on the market and on for the first time!
