19th Century 1800s War 1812 Too Civil War Era Cuttoe Sword Long Knife W/sheath:

18th Century 1700s Revolutionary War Era primitive cuttoe sword


Sword is in original condition with signs of corrosion and pitting on the iron blade. Measuring approximately 22 1/2 ” inches in total and has an 18” inch blade with a 3/8 spine iron counter guard with S shape design with finger loop indicative of small sword or long knife of the era with a single fuller line and no visible markings.

Sword has its original hand stitched leather scabbard which has some shrinkage and a wire wrapped repair at the tip still a secure fit but stops short of the Ricasso due to age and shrinkage.
