19thC French Wood Carved Metal Barometer

This is a Very rare & Impressive French Wall Barometer featuring a Metal mechanism with No Mercury Present. This Unique style was Produced by L. Bourdon which won medals at the 1849 and 1851 Expositions. The Wood Carved Walnut Case is in Outstanding Condition and Displays Very Well with No issues to report. The attention to Detail in the Carving is Phenomenal and would easily be the Focal Point of any Wall. This is most likely a Companion Barometer meaning that it would have Originally had a Matching Clock that Went with it. Even without a matching Clock this Beauty is Beyond Impressive and is Easily one of the Most Impressive Barometers that we have owned.
