Cameras

You are offerding on both cameras.

These cameras are in "as found" condition and have not been repaired or restored by us.

The "G. Mason & Sons, Makers Leeds" is missing its\' lens. The two brass rails are bent at the ends and are missing three screws and there is a missing section to one internal rail, although the camera does extend. There are also some holes to the sides of the bellows. The camera has the ivorine makers plaque to the back and there appears to be no major splits or cracks to the wooden body of the camera. The handle is well atached and the ground glass plate is sound.

The second camera has an unmarked brass lens, this has "f 8 - 64", the camera extends fine and there are no splits and holes to the leather bellows. The wood and brass appears to be free from major damage, however, there is a crack to the wood of the base around the tripod fixing point. The leather handle to the top has some cracking but is well attached and sturdy and there appearsto be a missing brass knob to the side. The camera extends and folds away as it should.

Both cameras have the scuffs, scratches and marks that you would expect from well used items of this age.

These cameras would be ideal for repairs or spares.
