50\'s XK120 JAGUAR GO KART ORIGINAL MINI RARE VINTAGE FIND CART MUST SEE For Sale

Here for offer is a 1950\'s Jaguar XK120 go kart/mini. Produced in the 50\'s by The American JR Aircraft company owned by Jim Walker in Portland Oregon. About6 1/2 feet long and 30 + inches wide,room for 2 kids or one adult.Missing front bumper ,interior ,windshield (there are two windshieldbrackets attached to the body) upper part of the brake handle ( the brake linkage under the wood floor and the metal friction brake pad to the right rear tire is all there). There is a small piece of fiberglass broke out by the steering wheel and there are cracks in the gel coat. fiberglass seems good.(see pic.) The steering wheel is cut in one spotbut could bewelded. One headlight is broke( was told this size is obtainable)rear tail lights and lenses are there, has all 4 hub caps. The tires are General and appear to be in good condition. Motor tag reads Continental Motors Corp. I was told the motor does run but I have not tried to get it going (does turn over with compression), it appears to be missing the cover for the points. Fuel tank is not attached and is rusty inside. Take a look at the pics. what you see is what you get. This is a project kart not a ready to ride.This is a great vintage kartfor the Jaguar owner that would like an original Mini or a great find and project for the collector, sure tobe a prize in the collection.All shipping will be arranged and paid for by winning buyer. I have had several questions about shipping this kart. The dimensions are 78\" long,32\" wide and 28\" to the top of the steering wheel, weight is 140 pounds. I will crate it for an additional $150 as it will take a better part of 4 sheets of plywood and you would need to add about 4 inches to the length and width for some foam rubber packing and about 60 additional pounds of weight or if your shipper will pick it up as it is.
