#8 GRISWOLD (large block logo) p/n 704 P CAST IRON SKILLET ERIE PA., U.S.A. For Sale

Griswold Mfg. Co. cast iron Size No. 8 Skillet, circa 1930 to 1939. The underside is impressed marked GRISWOLD (large block logo) CAST IRON SKILLET / 8 / ERIE PA., U. S. A. / 704 P (pattern no.). The top of the handle is also impressed marked 8. Pan measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter, 11 1/4 inches from spout to spout, 15 5/16 inches from the end of its handle, across the pan and stands 2 1/16 inches tall. Its weight is 4 pounds 2 ounces.
This is in excellent condition with a slight rock (the thickness of two bicycle playing cards fits snug under high end) when sat on a flat surface. There are no chips, cracks, rust or pitting. It has been well cleaned, properly seasoned for cooking and displays well.
