Vintage lot of 8mm Home Movies from arecent San Francisco Bay Area estate sale. 12 reels in color withcases and storage cabinet; each reel is about 5” in diameter.Unviewed & selling as-is. I don\'t smell any vinegar odor.Notations are from the labels on the cabinet; some reels have moredetailed notes, some not at all. A vintage/original Lot of 26 -c.1950s-1960s (most aren\'t dated) - 5\" Reel Amateur 8mm / Super8 (?) Films / Home Movies w/ little (if any) information provided onthe cans.
As found at various estate & garagesales over the past several years, I have not viewed, screened orinspected any of these films as to actual content.
Condition : Visually they appear to bein nice original condition showing light overall wear. I could detecta light vinegar smell on a few of the films (see pics).

The lot contains a total of 30 reels from a family lived inl ate 50s into the 1960s inLawndaleCalifornia, which isjust east of the US Air Force Base near Hawthorne (LA).
Yet unknown if any film shows it butthe Family also spent time in Saudi Arabia, with the children attendingThe Parents Cooperative (Elementary) School, of Jeddah Saudi Arabiain 1970, 71 & 72. The preface page of the yearbooks states “Under the flags ofthe US and Saudi Arabia, students from 14 countries attend TheParents Cooperative School, with sponsorship of The Saudi ArabianAirlines.”
The photo of the young woman laying onthe stone steps is unrelated to this lot. She is a Spanish Movie Starand contemporary Political Art Activist. The photo was used as aplaceholder while developing the content of a delayed start listing.Do to a number of unforeseen events the listing went live andattracted offers before a proper inventory could be taken.

They are estate found and the family lived inLawndale just east of the US Air Force Base near Hawthorne (LA)California.
