This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century Ansonia "La Palma" Victorian "Royal Bonn" Large Porcelain Ceramic Mantel Shelf Clock with Porcelain 'Open Escapement' Dial, made by the Ansonia Clock Company New York USA, circa 1882. It has a Beautiful Large Footed 'Royal Bonn Germany' Colorful Blue and Green German Fine China Porcelain Ceramic Case with Hand Painted Floral Flowers With Gold Gilt Accents and Vibrant Colors, Absolutely Stunning!!! The Case is Signed on the Back "Royal Bonn Germany" and "La Palma" with Painted Signature. This Has a Stunning Porcelain Dial with Visible Open Escapement with Roman Numerals with Ornate Fancy Bezel with Heavy Beveled Glass, Very Clean! The Dial is Signed "Trademark A" and "Mf'd By The Ansonia Clock Company New York USA". This Clock has an Ansonia Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, which is signed "Ansonia Clock Co. Patented A June 14 81 New York USA Patented June 18 1882", with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime, Which Strikes Correctly. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and a Replacement Brass Adjustable Regulator Pendulum. The Clock is Large and Measures approx. 12" Tall x 14 1/4" Wide x 5" Deep. The Porcelain Case and Dial are in Good Condition!!! There is Some Crazing From Age Otherwise Fine, Overall Nice!!! The Clock is in Working Condition and Winds, Ticks and Sets, and Strikes Correctly!
