This is an original antique turn of the century tobacco trade sign. It is manufactured for the jon player & sons tobacco Company out of Nottingham England. Specifically for the heart of Oak brand tobacco. Please see the close-up details of the sign. There you will see that the Wood is old the back wood is not one single piece but a joined piece of wood with old style joinery. The nails that are holding the sign posting together are antiqued and old. The front shows cracking in the paint due to age. Overall well cared for sign see photos feel free to ask any questions.
