An antique Victorian Standing photograph Album with mirror and compartment. The cover is a celluloid portrait of a beautiful woman. The album with stand measures 14” tall x 14” at its widest. Album measures 10 1/2” tall x 9” wide. The cabinet card photo sheets measure 10” tall x 8 wide. There are cabinet cards in place. Some of the inserts are torn. Please see photos.
The album pulls down, the cabinet cards slide into the 12 pages, there is also pages for smaller prints or tintypes. The velvet binding is intact but the insert pages are loose. There is metal inserts on top of the velvet. The top part of the closure latch is in place.
When the album pulls down there is a mirror. Also, below the album is a drawer that pulls out. I have kept the original postcards in the drawer.
